Just the other day a co-worker and I were talking about potty training. His toddler daughter is just beginning to use the "big girl potty" but not on a regular basis. I shared that my daughter was easily potty trained because we read books in the "library" I remember her toddling down the hall with an armful of books yelling "potty mommy!" and into the bathroom we'd go, where we'd read until, you know.
When I saw this article online about a new "app" for potty training, it made me a little sad. Technology has made our lives better in many ways, but, in my opinion, this isn't one of them. I'd be willing to bet most toddlers still prefer mommy or daddy over technology….most of them.
