Even if you are an just an occasional viewer of golf on television, you may have heard people yelling unusual words or phrases after a golfer hits a drive off of the tee box. It all started with the now famous “In the hole” guy. Why do they yell these things? Well their are many ideas but probably the most well known is communicating with their friends and family watching on TV.
