Reba also known as the Queen of Country has always been a class act. Last night as we sat down and watched The American Country Countdown Awards we loved Reba's speech almost more than anything. Thank goodness we hit the DVR button so we could go back and write down exactly what she said to share with you all
"Thank you to the American Country Countdown Awards. This is a very special honor, and it sure means the world to me to be thought of as a valued member of the country music family. I feel very blessed to still be making country music and sharing it with the people in America and around the world who love it as much as I do. And standing here tonight in Nashville, I think back to what it was like to be one of the new kids in town, trying to make my name in country music. So as I look around the room at all the talented men and women doing such great work in country music today, I pray you have the chance to live a whole beautiful life making music for the people who give us the greatest jon in the world, our fans. And as Kix said in music as in life, it's all about connecting with people. I feel so thankful to have made such a deep and lasting connection with all of you."
