
Today is World Poetry Day, and so I have penned a few Haikus to celebrate.
What is Haiku? “Haiku” is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.
Here are a few which I felt you could relate to today
INSANE DRIVERS MANY
TEXTING DISTRACTIONS ABOUND
INDIANAPOLIS*
FOUR SIXTY FIVE SLOW
EMERSON, KEYSTONE, MAYBE?
NOTHING BUT POTHOLES
POWERBALL JACKPOT
WIN AND BUILD A ROCKET
THE MOON IS SMOOTHER
MARCH MADNESS BRACKET
FIRST ROUND FORGET ABOUT IT.
