Deb Tries the Christmas Tree Frappuccino but Something’s Wrong

Hey, it’s Deb…
I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to my coffee. No big surprise, there. So, I tried the new Christmas Tree Frappuccino at Starbucks this morning and it looked nothing like the real deal promoted on the internet. A name like Christmas Tree Frappuccino should, in some way, resemble a Christmas tree, am I right?
It didn’t.
The barista handed me my frosty beverage this morning, and it looked like zombie brains with a flower on top. On further inspection, I discovered that my so-called Christmas Tree was missing a few key decorations.
The drink is a peppermint mocha. On top, is a cloud of green-tinted whipped cream (the tree). My tree apparently was feeling a bit Grinch-like, because it did not come with the caramel drizzle (the garland) and the dried cranberries (the ornaments), but it did include the strawberry on top (the star), buried under the lid and not too visible.
And there you have it. Did it taste great? Yep. But, not too impressed with the presentation. This treat is available for only a few days, through December 11th.
