56% OF US STILL STOP TO PICK UP A PENNY
We were talking on the show this morning…if you see a penny laying on the ground would you stop and pick it up or leave it? 56% of Americans say they will stop and pick it up. However 6% won’t stop to pick up any coin…not even a quarter.
It doesn’t matter how much you make in income either. People who make over $80,000 a year are just a tiny bit less likely to stop for a penny than people who make less that $40,000 a year.
11% of people say they will only stop for a nickel…6% for a dime…14% for a quarter…and 6% won’t stop and pick up any coin in the street.
Both Deb and Jim said they would pick up a coin for good luck. And surprisingly Kevin said he would not.
