Troy Gentry was killed tragically in a helicopter crash in September of 2017. Although many of his organs were not able to be transplanted, Troy’s wife Angie was able to donate some of his body parts. His bones, tissues and corneas were among them according to The Boot.
Angie’s sister received a kidney transplant and she believes Troy would have wanted to help others in need. She is open to meeting the recipients of the body parts, especially the person who received his corneas.
She told People she’d like to see what “I used to look through every day that I loved so much, to see that somebody had better vision or has a better life because of it.”
