Apparently not even flour is safe! The latest food recall includes five pound bags of Gold Medal flour.
According to CNN, the recall is for unbleached flours with a better-if-used-by date of April 20, 2020. Those who have the flour are encouraged to throw it away. No one has been reported sick yet.
“This recall is being issued out of an abundance of care as General Mills has not received any direct consumer reports of confirmed illnesses related to this product,” the company said.
