After 35 years behind the mic at 95.5 WFMS, our beloved Jim Denny has decided he’s hanging up his headphones.

Jim is beloved by WFMS listeners and country music fans all across central Indiana. As a life-long Hoosier, Jim’s commitment to inform, entertain and engage with the WFMS audience over the years has been nothing short of exemplary and of tremendous benefit to the Indianapolis area.

What’s more, the impact on our listeners’ lives that he’s made his mission through community service is immeasurable and among his most passionate tenets. Congratulations on a great broadcasting career, Jim!

Jim says, “It’s hard to believe that I’ve spent over half my life behind the mic at WFMS. I have met so many wonderful people and have worked with the best of the best. Most importantly, I’m grateful that Hoosiers like Deb and Kevin have gone on this journey with me. God has truly blessed me; I am a WFMS listener for life!”

Jim’s last day on 95.5 WFMS will be Friday, December 15th, so we’ve got plenty of time to celebrate an incredible career! We love ya’, Jim Denny!
