If you were looking for a tweet from Kane Brown today, you might have noticed he’s no longer on the social media platform. It looks like the country star deactivated his account.

The timing coincides with the announcement of the CMA Awards. Kane did not receive a nomination in any of the categories. He tweeted a GIF of Stephen Curry shaking his head after the nominees were all revealed.

However, Kane posted the following note on his Instagram account:

So my management team will be running my twitter and Facebook from now on so I can focus on music and my family and stay off my phone it’s taking over my life lol so instagram will be the only thing u can get ahold of me on at least until the next album.

So, maybe it was a planned move, maybe it was because of the CMA snub or maybe it’s a combination of the two.
