While most of us have amped up our cooking game a little bit in quarantine, it looks like we’ve had our fair share of struggles along the way.

According to The Daily Meal, people in Indiana have been google searching how to cook bacon more than any other item. The article also features a state by state breakdown of items people been searching respectively.

I’ve always been one to cook my bacon in the oven. It’s always been the most even cooked bacon with the least mess. Turns out, a lot of us could be cooking it the wrong way.

The results suggest, “first, add bacon to a pan with just a little bit of water. Then turn the stove to high heat. Once the water has boiled, lower the heat to medium. And once the water has evaporated, reduce the heat to low. Cook the bacon to your desired color.”
