Well it’s the news many of us have been waiting for…the first county has officially made a stance on trick-or-treating. Los Angeles county has decided to ban the Halloween tradition in 2020.

LA county is one of the largest in the country, so it’s safe to assume that others will follow suit.

The LA Department of Public Health said it can be difficult to safely distance while going door-to-door, according to CNN. Trunk or treating has also been banned in the county, as have fairs and haunted houses.
