Twitter went into a rage Tuesday night over what viewers are calling the, quote, “easiest ‘Final Jeopardy!’ question ever.”

According to Yahoo, the category was “Colleges and Universities”, and the clue was:  In 2019, this public university attempted to trademark the word ‘the’ for use on clothing and hats. Answer: “The” Ohio State University.

It wasn’t a very challenging question.  I mean, this was a huge, national news story just a few years ago.  It would have been fine for one of the first two rounds, but not as the final question.

It got people on Twitter wondering if the show is even trying anymore. Of course, all three contestants got the answer right.
